The cuvée LA PUNITION takes its name from the long and difficult harvest of a plot of old Carignan plants planted in 1945, which the harvesters fled from the first hour spent bent, too hard, too hot, too dry, too few grapes per strain. Production is around 25 hectoliters per hectare, making it a very confidential vintage.
It is vinified from ripe, gourmet, peppery, slightly kirsch fruits, tight grain, round and fatty tannins, balanced and suave.
